Certification Hierarchy

Top Rank IT’s certified trainers help organizations with improved level of project management performance that leads to faster and increased ROI over other training and certification courses. We have real-world knowledge pertaining to and can anticipate issues related to the practical transformation to and implementation of Agile and Scrum, regardless of industry.

Though there is no mandatory prerequisite for most of our Agile and Scrum training courses, it is always better to understand the hierarchy structure. The diagram below shows the recommended course hierarchy as well as optional certifications to ensure the successful implementation and adoption of Agile and Scrum across your entire organization.

We recommend all Scrum core team members (Scrum Master, Scrum Product Owner, Scrum Team) and all non-core Scrum Team Members including project sponsors, managers, and executives attend the Scrum Developer Certified (SDC) course first. This course provides a high-level overview of Agile and Scrum project management practices while providing your organization with the context needed to understand the WHY, WHAT, HOW, and WHO of Agile and Scrum implementation. After this course, Scrum Masters and Scrum Product Owners continue to the next specialized courses targeted towards their respective Scrum roles. Agile coaches continue on to the Agile Certified (SAC) course.
